Background: |
In response to the growing global shortage of healthcare workers, this initiative aims to upgrade the skills of Bangladeshi nurses and midwives to meet international standards. By focusing on practical, digital, and communication skills, the project will empower our healthcare professionals to secure premium employment opportunities in Western markets, thereby boosting national foreign remittances.
The project centers on the construction of a state-of-the-art 10-story training facility, designed to provide world-class education. Key features include:
a) Fully equipped, dedicated spaces for both nursing and midwifery training (up to 5,000 sq. ft. each).
b) Specialized language labs (focused on IELTS preparation) and modern computer labs.
c) Modern classrooms and dedicated faculty spaces.
d) Recruitment of expert nursing and midwifery instructors from the UK, US, and Europe.
|
|
Objective: |
a) Prepare local nurses and midwives for overseas employment, specifically in the UK, USA, and Europe.
b) Elevate the overall quality of domestic healthcare.
c) Increase foreign remittance inflows through global job placements.
d) Boost overall employment rates for nursing professionals.
e) Establish Bangladesh as a hub to attract foreign nurses and midwives for advanced training.
