Later BPC requested support from the PPP Authority regarding project development and transaction advisory for the project. PPP Authority is now in the process of engaging an advisor for the provision of technical, commercial, financial, environmental and social feasibility assessment to support the process for appointment of PPP developer for Establishment of International Standard Hotel cum Training Centre on Existing land of BPC at Muzgunni, Khulna (the Project). Khulna has significant tourism as well as commercial based activities and attracts domestic and international businesses as well as visitors. In addition local residents at this city also enjoy comparatively growing purchasing power ability. However, Khulna has comparatively limited quality hotel facilities. Despite being one of the largest cities of Bangladesh, Khulna only has 2-3 standard hotels. On this note, BPC has decided to establish international standard Hotel-cum a training Centre on the existing land of BPC at Muzgunni.
